The person on the line said “hang on a sec” and then I got switched to a different number. Someone answered but then just hung up straight away. Still no clue what that call was supposed to be!

Our phone went off, and upon picking up, the person on the other end said, "Just hold on a sec," before seemingly transferring the call to a different number. They inquired about our identity, and when we countered with the same question, they abruptly hung up. Quite baffling, really! Not sure what that was meant to entail.
