Today, 28th June 2022, at about 2:43pm, I got a call from this number, 01226 666831. The guy on the other end was saying I might qualify for one of those medical alert pendants. As soon as he asked if I was over 50, I just hung up. The voice sounded exactly like some chap who used to call me all the time about upgrading my home insulation - pretty sure it's the same person. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

It was some kind of sales call, something to do with energy, based on the automated message, but the connection was awful so I couldn't catch the whole thing. We're on the TPS list, so why would a proper company bother to call? Honestly, I think the TPS scheme is pretty useless. If you can't even tell who’s ringing you because the message is unclear and you just have a number, what's the point? They should really do something if the same number rings people repeatedly.

Watch out for those Medic Alert scammers calling outta nowhere. I ended up using the BT blocker code 1572 to stop calls from 01226666831.
