They tried to get my bank info! Definitely don’t respond!

The phone rang then just went dead when I picked up.

Just had a call from a woman saying she was from HSBC, knew my full name, first part of my postcode and birthday, then asked for more security details. Same lady rang me from 01226300052 a bit earlier. Looks like both numbers are dodgy, loads of people reporting similar stuff. HSBC told me they didn’t make the call and have no record of this “rep” she claimed to be. If your “bank” rings you up after 8pm, it's almost certainly a scam. Any nice reviews around here are probably just scammers trying to confuse folks.

I ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar to me. I've heard quite a few folks say it’s supposed to be HSBC, but I’m not a customer of theirs. Just a heads up to be careful!

From what I understand, this number is kinda a standard one companies ring their customers on. It's not personal or anything, just a typical contact number they go by.

I got a call from a lady speaking with a weird accent saying she was from HSBC, but it was clear she was just trying to trick me into giving my bank details.

When HSBC verifies who you are, they'll typically ask for a bit of your postcode and a fragment of your birthdate. They'll never ask you for any banking details, so don't worry about that.

I received a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be from HSBC, and they were verifying my address change. The caller seemed authentic.

It's HSBC, you see... Our mum’s employed there, and occasionally, this chap rings us from time to time. Oddly enough, whenever we try to return the call, the number appears to be just a regular one. Quite peculiar if you ask me! But yes, it definitely belongs to HSBC.

We received a missed call from 01514798063, but no message was left behind. We then got another call from the same number, which we decided to pick up. It turned out to be someone from HSBC calling to verify some information since we recently updated our address. They didn't request anything out of the ordinary and seemed perfectly legitimate.

I received a call from this number that I don’t recognise. Curious about it, I decided to ring back using a different phone, but I was informed that the number doesn’t exist. Despite that, it’s still showing up in my call log. Quite baffling, isn’t it?

We received a missed call from 01514798063, though they did leave a message. Shortly after, we answered another call from the same number. It turns out it was HSBC ringing to verify some details since we've recently updated our address. They didn’t request any extraneous information and appeared to be credible throughout the conversation.

We received a missed call from this number, but when we tried to call back, it just made a beeping sound as if the number wasn’t valid. How odd!

It turns out it's HSBC. Our mum's employed there, and he occasionally gives us a ring from this number. Yet, whenever we try to call him back, it just connects to a regular number. Quite odd, isn't it? But yes, it's definitely HSBC after all!
