The person on the other end didn’t introduce themselves and immediately jumped into a spiel about some life insurance policy they insisted I had with a provider I’ve never even heard of. They went on about the pandemic too, but I’d had enough and cut the call short. What a nuisance! Definitely recommend blocking this number!

This morning, I woke to find I had missed two calls from this number. Strangely, there was no voicemail left, so I decided to hang tight and see if they would ring me again. I’m usually glued to my phone, so I hardly ever miss a call. Sure enough, they called once more, but the phone barely rang for a moment before it was cut off — clearly a sign of some dodgy callback scam at play.
