He claimed to be from my energy provider and inquired if I owned the property. However, when I requested the name of my supplier, he failed to provide it. I pressed him on how my energy supplier could divulge my number without knowing which company I was with, and he abruptly terminated the call. If I notify BT about this, they'll just direct me to the action fraud helpline, but they're unable to assist since no funds have been fraudulently taken from me. It's high time BT took a firmer stance on these dodgy calls. Upon looking up the number, it appears to be registered in Bath.
