Got a call from this number around 11:50 but all I heard was coughing and no one actually talking. Then they just hung up. When I looked them up here, they called me back about 3pm with a recorded message that just said "goodbye." Feels like annoying pestering with no real reason!

Got a call from this number and as soon as I answered, all I heard was someone saying goodbye and then nothing. Seems like others have experienced the same thing based on the comments. I’m thinking it’s some kind of scam where they ring lots of phones and quickly hang up on those who take a bit longer to pick up. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

They used my name and claimed to be ringing from the police. They said there’s a free security system for people over 50 but you just have to cover a small maintenance cost. Apparently, they’re working in our neighbourhood and could drop by today or tomorrow. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Clearly a cold call that I didn’t ask for or want.

Somebody rang asking for me by name, and I stupidly said yes. Then this woman said her name was Linda and claimed she was from some 'UK Crime' organisation, but the line went dead before she could finish what she was saying.
