I've had to block a rather irritating caller who's been getting in touch far too frequently.
3 years
I keep getting calls from the same number over and over again.

Just received a call from 01225 685752, but it was completely silent and then they disconnected. Quite peculiar, really!

I experienced a rather distressing phone call where the individual spoke in a harsh tone and rattled off their words at an alarming speed. They tried to present themselves as authoritative by dropping mentions of 'the council' to lend credence to their call.

This seems rather dodgy, possibly a con regarding insulation. I've had a similar ring from 01225685748 as well.

I'm a bit puzzled, really. When I picked up the phone and greeted the caller a few times, there was absolute silence on the other end before the call just cut off. This isn’t the first time it’s occurred—had a similar experience not long ago!

Received an unexpected phone call, which turned out to be a scam related to energy services. Quite concerning, really!

I received a call from this number, but they promptly disconnected before I could answer. Thankfully, my TrueCall blocker caught it before it could be a bother. I often peruse these websites to find out who’s been attempting to pull a fast one on me, based on the records saved in my TrueCall system, yet I’m never troubled by these nuisances.

I've received a few calls from this number. All unknown callers are required to state their identity, yet it only shows the number on my screen. It seems like a potential energy scam or perhaps something dodgy related to TV insurance. They’re clearly after my bank details. I've reported the number to my internet service provider and added it to my blocked contacts on my phone.

Just had a dodgy call from some chancer who hung up as soon as my answer phone activated. Typical behavior!

I was abruptly cut off by a chap who launched into a rehearsed spiel, even after I made it clear that he oughtn't to be calling me. It's high time we put a stop to these companies that persist with cold calling, especially when the number is already on the Telephone Preference Service list.

Received a call purporting to be from my energy provider (which was not specified), and they inquired if I was the property owner. When I pressed for details regarding the purpose of the call, the bloke on the other end went mute, not uttering a word until I eventually decided to hang up.

Received a call but not a peep on the other end. Quite mysterious!

I didn't manage to answer the call in time, and now I'm left wondering if it might have been a scam, considering what I've seen in the reviews. It's a bit off-putting, to say the least.

This chap is going around calling himself a "local" insulation business, but it's quite baffling considering I reside in Suffolk! His definition of local seems a bit off, don't you think?

I refrained from picking up the phone since I tend to receive a barrage of scam calls around half past ten in the morning, and there wasn't any name displayed for the call on my landline. Just as expected, the caller hung up when the answering machine started. After doing a quick search on this site, I'm relieved I bypassed that call. It’s now firmly blocked.

I just had some chap on the line claiming to be from the energy regulatory body, insisting he knew the homeowner’s details. He said if he could just get hold of my bank info, he could help me cut costs on my energy bills. What a right numpty!

Received a call from an energy firm that purported to be local, yet they were actually ringing from Bath. The moment I expressed my discontent with the call, they promptly ended the conversation.

I simply refuse to pick up calls from numbers I don't recognise. I prefer to wait for a voicemail before deciding anything. I've now gone ahead and blocked that number.

The caller began discussing loft insulation made from fibreglass. I clearly stated that we do not entertain unsolicited calls, but he seemed to ignore my request entirely. Even after I reiterated my point, he persisted in his spiel, so I decided it was best to hang up. Quite the determined individual, he wouldn’t take no for an answer at all.

I’m unsure who that was as they didn’t pick up.

It was a woman speaking on the other end. My wife picked up, but unfortunately, she wasn't able to hear anything due to her deafness, so she ended the call.

Apparently, our energy provider is supposedly providing a complimentary assessment of our insulation for mould as part of some government initiative.

Received a call at half past eight this morning, and as soon as I answered, the caller hung up. How inconsiderate, honestly! When I tried ringing back, an automated voice informed me that it was "Digital Solutions" reaching out for some marketing spiel. It's quite clear this was nothing more than a cold call.

I received a phone call from someone calling himself Trevor. He mumbled something I couldn't quite catch regarding the company he represented. When I inquired about his location, the line went silent. I suspect this was just another unwanted sales pitch.

I'm at a bit of a loss here. It appears to be linked to some insulation assessment. There's a firm not far from Reading that's behind this. Their voicemail is rather clever, yet it has blank spaces and requires responses for voice recognition, which is incredibly irritating!

I encountered a rather immature chap, just like the last time. He was peddling insulation, claiming to operate out of Reading. Naturally, I inquired why he was using a phone number from Bath. To my surprise, he cut the call short.

I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter recently about the energy provider in my area. It seems everyone has something to say about them! Whether it's the service they provide or the rates they've set, it’s definitely a hot topic around here. Has anyone else noticed how much buzz there is about what they’re doing?

I received a rather peculiar call that appeared to originate from a computer, discussing some sort of loft survey. The caller claimed to know details about me and my property, which I found quite unsettling. I decided to hang up as it felt rather dubious. Remarkably, they tried to ring me again right after, but I opted not to answer. Best to proceed with a great deal of caution, I’d say!

It's the usual saga, isn’t it? Just another toff playing tricks on unsuspecting souls. They claimed to be situated in Reading, but when I pointed out the Bath number they were ringing from, they just cut the call. Classic!

I didn't recognise the number, so I chose not to answer. After a bit of silence filled with odd clicking noises, a bloke on the other end claimed he was from my local electricity provider and inquired about my wellbeing. I informed him that I hadn’t requested a call and hadn’t a clue who he was. He hung up right then without another word.

I received a call today from this number, claiming my details were sourced from a Renewable Energy Database, due to the fact I had free loft insulation installed by the government nearly a decade ago. They stated that this insulation was now causing issues with damp in my loft and roof. The chap assured me that the survey would be at no cost, and there would be no charges for any necessary work thereafter. However, he quickly backtracked and mentioned they would provide a no-obligation quote for the remedial work required. The gentleman was rather aggressive and continually talked over me. I pointed out that if a government initiative had led to damage in homes, surely it should be the government’s duty to rectify it! He wasn’t too pleased with that comment but persisted in his pitch! I've also discovered that this number has been reported by others for various dubious activities, so it's quite evident they're up to no good. Personally, I'll be keeping an eye out for when Martin Lewis highlights this on his show! Many thanks, and to all you con artists out there, why not just leave those who are vulnerable alone?

Utterly pretentious twit from Bath, masquerading as a so-called Digital Solution Marketing Company, had the audacity to ring me. They even had the gall to suggest pressing one if I wished to cease all further contact – as if that's going to make any impact at all! My number’s unlisted, and if you’re tuning in, you shady charlatan, do me a solid and refrain from calling me again. You’re clearly aware it’s me as I didn’t utter a word this time, yet you still chose to chime in.

I had someone on the phone claiming they were from a government grant initiative, but when I mentioned I didn't benefit from any such insulation funding, they abruptly terminated the conversation. Quite peculiar, really!
