Someone attempted to pitch me some loft insulation.

Received a call around half ten this morning. They didn’t bother to ask for me by name first. Instead, they dived right in with, “I’m your Local Energy Adviser. I believe you own your home.” I interrupted them, shooting back in a quickfire manner, “Who are you? What’s your company's name? Are you just going through numbers at random?” At that point, they hung up without responding to my perfectly valid queries! It appears they’ve got no genuine interest in either providing local energy advice or conservation tips, especially considering they just squandered a fair bit of energy by phoning me!
