They said they were ringing from [#]phonehouse[###], trying to sell me an iPhone 14 for £30 a month. I looked it up and found the website domain was actually up for sale. When I asked why they didn’t own the domain, the bloke got rude, made a comment about my mum, and then just hung up. When I called the number back, it played a message from "National Communications" saying, "All of our representative [sic] are busy at the moment. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you."

Got a call from some lot pretending to be O2, trying to trick me into giving them my O2 code (even tho it clearly says don’t share it with anyone). After about 30 minutes of them rattling off my info, I told them I wouldn’t confirm anything and asked how many times they're gonna ignore data protection rules. They just told me to jog on and hung up. Best to avoid these muppets altogether.

absolute scam pretending to be a landline from the bath region in england, obviously just an automated internet call. they claimed they could block nuisance calls if i paid a tiny monthly fee by direct debit. sounded believable so i played along even though i knew it was dodgy. when they asked for my bank details, i told them they were disgusting and deserved to be locked up. they hung up on me after calling me a very rude word beginning with c. lovely - not at all!

this number is definitely a scam claiming to be from the tps (telephone preference service) even tho it shows a bath area code it sounds like those call centres from india, they rang me 3 times this morning on my phone so i’ve just blocked it now on my mobile.

they claimed to be from the telephone preference service and said they needed some info from me to stop annoying calls. they asked for my debit card expiry and sort code. when i refused, they got pretty irate and handed me over to a supervisor who was even more pushy and ignored what i said. after i ended the call, they rang straight back. it sounded like it was from an indian call centre.
