Clearly a scammer on the line! An Asian gentleman purportedly representing Three Mobile rang me up, touting some special offers. However, when I probed him about my mobile account, he couldn't provide any satisfactory answers. Quite dodgy, I'd say!

I received a call claiming to be from 3 Mobile, boasting about fantastic discounts that were supposed to be a lot lower than what I’m currently paying. However, they wanted a hefty £45 upfront fee! Naturally, I turned them down. When I reached out directly to 3, they advised me to disregard that call entirely, confirming it wasn’t them. So, it’s clear that this is a complete scam!

I've received a call from a number I don’t recognise, which seems to be based in Bath. Since this is a phone registered with the Telephone Preference Service, it clearly reeks of a scam or some dodgy business. I would strongly advise anyone to be wary of this number – it’s definitely one to avoid!

I received a call today, but it was quite odd. When I picked up, the person on the other end seemed unable to hear me and quickly disconnected. It sounded like there was a lot of commotion in the background, almost like I was at a call centre. Taking the advice I've read on this site, I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Dodgy call today. They pretended to be from the Three network, saying they'd got an iMac deal for me. When I confronted them about their dodgy tactics, they turned rude and aggressive. It's a proper con – steer clear!

I received a phone call from a woman who had a bit of an accent, and the name of her company was quite tricky to catch. She straight away started asking about my well-being, which struck me as rather odd. When I requested her to clarify the company's name, she hung up without a word. I stumbled upon this cheeky offer from Carphone Warehouse, claiming that they’ve slashed the prices of their phones by fifty percent! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the deals on their site. It certainly seems too good to be true—am I the only one slightly suspicious? Still, if it’s legit, who wouldn’t want a brilliant new phone for half the usual cost? I’d advise giving it a proper look before diving in, though!

I received a call from this number earlier on, but I chose not to answer it. Later, I checked my voicemail, and it turned out to be a bit of a puzzle. The message seemed to be an accidental one, filled with a jumble of indistinct chatter. This number has tried to get in touch with me about five times today. I decided to let the calls hit my answering machine. Afterward, I called 1471 to track down the number. Since it had a local area code, I gave it a redial, but all I received was an automated message stating that the number isn’t in service. Quite strange, really!

Received a call purporting to be from a phone blocking service based in London. They began inquiring about the expiry date on one of my cards, which raised my suspicions. I expressed my discontent with the direction the conversation was taking and promptly hung up. I’ve since blocked the number. The caller had an Asian accent and spoke rather rapidly, which added to my unease. What a nuisance!

My call log shows that this number attempted to reach me four times today, but they were unable to connect unless they pressed the hash key and announced who they were. Consequently, their calls didn’t get through. I've been using BT Call Guardian and I must say, it’s absolutely exceptional. This number will now be automatically blocked, which is fantastic!
