At first, there was just silence on the line, then suddenly an automated message started claiming my computer had a dangerous virus. It also warned me that my internet service was about to be disconnected unless i called the "bt representative" on the number they gave me. The thing is, i’m with another internet company, so this sounded like a total scam trying to get into my broadband. Now i’ve gone and blocked the number, even though it appeared to be a normal local one.
