Got a call from a woman who sounded Indian on 01225296466. She said she was from some life insurance firm and surprisingly knew my name and where I used to live. I told her I was a bit busy and asked her to ring me back later. What’s the best way to handle it if she phones again?

Got a call on Friday afternoon, probably hoping I'd be distracted. Picked up but didn't say a word, just listened. Could totally hear them getting annoyed, sounded like they were in some call centre. Blocked the number after that.

This afternoon, I got another call from a woman with an Indian accent after my missus cut her off the first time. She was trying to tell me there was some issue with my laptop, asking if I’d used it lately. I just told her it was a spam call and told her to sort herself out. She kept insisting it wasn’t, but I kept messing about to keep her tied up so she wouldn’t bother others. Eventually, she gave up and ended the call. Proper lowlife, honestly.

Got a call this morning at about 9:35 from 01225 296466. A woman called Maria said she was ringing from the "Windows Centre" in London. When I asked what it was about, she got really annoyed - pretty obvious scam right there. The use of the name "Windows" was sketchy from the start. I tried pressing her for the exact location in London, but she couldn’t answer properly. Then another woman picked up, claiming they were located in Regent Street. She also didn’t take kindly to my questions and cut the call before I could hang up. Totally fishy and their bluff was called.

Saw the caller ID as a local number so I picked up. The bloke on the line had an Indian accent and immediately asked if I’d been on my computer lately - I just knew it was a scam. I told him to jog on and hung up. No sooner had I done that, he called back straight away wanting to know why I’d cut him off. I told him flat out it was a con. Of course, he tried to deny it and said he’d get someone else on the line to talk me round. Didn’t bother listening and blocked the number. Honestly, it’s about time these scammers got sent somewhere they’d never bother anyone again!
