Looks like I missed this call, but I think it’s one of those numbers Ive seen before. Seems like a marketing firm pretending to be nearby by using a local number. They always mention some survey to try and push sales, dropping lines like “local company” or “scrappage scheme.” Honestly, it’s annoying and there should be a way to report these numbers to stop them. Anyone know if this can be done?

Phone rang, I picked up, and then they told me to hold. After a bit, the call just cut off. Dunno if they charged me for that call, guess I’ll see when my bill shows up.

Got another annoying call today. When I mentioned that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, the person on the other end just said, “Oh really?” I then had to point out that it’s their responsibility to check that before calling and that contacting me without doing so is actually against the rules.

This number rang me up the other day, asking all sorts about the number of windows at my place. When I tried to figure out if they were trying to sell me window-related stuff, the answers were super vague. I told them my home was a huge old manor from the 1500s with over 1,600 windows, and they finally just cut the call. Blocked the number right after.
