It's Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. My missus had a complete hysterectomy and they removed a big ovarian lump about three weeks ago. We were waiting for a phone call from them but missed it. When I tried ringing back, all I got was a busy signal.

That number really is a proper NHS one - just a general line, probs from some place in ARI. For me, it was linked to the maternity ward. Don’t pay attention to those claims calling it a “covid” scam, sounds like someone’s been scrolling through too many conspiracy theories. You won’t get through if you try ringing it since it’s a generic contact number with nowhere for the call to actually connect, so it just ends up dropping your call.

I reckon it’s safe to say the NHS is legit. Either I actually booked my c-section date online or I got hoodwinked by some scammer, which seems pretty unlikely. Best to just brush off those conspiracy nuts.
