I’ve signed up with the Telephone Preference Service and my number isn't publicly available, yet it seems to make little difference when other firms sell on your information or pass it about. Just last night, I decided to escalate things and asked my provider to halt any marketing calls; however, lo and behold, this mysterious number still managed to ring in today and it’s definitely not from around here. As a next step, I'm planning to utilise a free feature from my provider to manually blacklist this number.
