Somebody rang me yesterday from a new number, no sales pitch or anything, just seemed like a cheaper BT caller. They used a blocked number too.

Got a call from a guy claiming he was with some firm trying to sell me a cheaper line rental. When I asked if I could just look up his number on Google, he suddenly gave me a totally different number, though it did belong to the company he said he worked for. I asked why he wasn't using that one, and he said they don’t use it for calls. Felt like a proper scam, total dodgy behaviour!
