I received a rather suspicious call from someone purporting to be from a Motor Assist firm, claiming that I had supposedly been in a car accident a few months back. Truth be told, I can’t recall any such incident whatsoever; I've never been in an accident in my life. It felt quite clear that this caller was fishing for my banking information, even going so far as to request it outright. I swiftly added them to my block list!

Got a call from Motor Assist about some little accident they say I reported. Thing is, I never asked them, "Who exactly did I tell about this?" I did question, "How many times do you ring before someone admits to an accident?" and then they just ended the call. Thing is, I actually was in an RTI about a year ago, and that’s all being sorted out by my solicitor and the other driver’s insurance.
