Someone called saying they were from my credit card company and mentioned a suspicious payment of £835 that had been blocked. They wanted to know if I knew about the charge. Then they asked me to put the call on speaker and pull up Google. I said I’d rather contact my bank myself because I didn’t feel right about it, and they ended the call straight away when I questioned them.

This number has been calling me every single day. Definitely a scam. They ring but never leave any voicemail. I've had other calls from the 01224 area code too, with dodgy messages saying my debit card had issues and £340 was going to some charity in China, and that they'd block my card. It was all a pre-recorded message, so I just hung up.
