I got a call from this number claiming to be from a loan company. I paid £175 once, then they said it was passed to accounts. After that, they wanted £425 for some PPI protection thing. Then they told us the loan was going through, but next came £300 for paperwork. That’s when the alarm bells rang, and I asked to cancel and get my money back. They said wait for a manager to call back. We waited until Monday, but when they finally called, they didn’t even know why they were ringing and asked for another £300. Said no way, and then they claimed if we wanted a refund, we’d have to pay again. Total scam!! Stay away!!!
