I received a dodgy call from someone with a foreign twang, purporting to represent Curry's PC World. They were trying to entice me with a bargain offer on a mobile phone. Naturally, I wasn’t about to give out my banking information and turned down the so-called deal straightaway.

Just got a call from this number a few minutes back. I told the woman on the other end, who had an Asian accent, that I was on a police phone (which wasn’t true) and that scam calls were being tracked right now. She just said “Oh” and hung up straight away.

Got a call earlier from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he worked for EE. Wasn't the first time either, I got a call from a different number today too. I reckon it’s a dodgy scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, wanting to know what phone I had to give me a special offer. Felt dodgy to me, so I just blocked the number. Definitely seems like a scam.
