Got a call from a woman with a sort of foreign accent who started talking about a car crash. I just said straight up I knew she was trying to scam me and told her to bugger off. Then, weirdly enough, she called me by a name I made up ages ago on some dodgy site. Never thought they’d still be using those details after all this time, but seems like they are! She even wished me a good day after that. Proper odd.

Got a call from some call centre, seemed like a total timewaster and maybe a scam too. This bloke with a strong Indian accent called himself Eric, but didn’t even let me get a word in - just shut me down straight away. I received a rather dubious phone call from someone purporting to be from a legal department, and they had the audacity to address me by my name! They were going on about some supposed accident I was involved in - typical of those annoying personal injury scams. When I pointed out that it’s actually illegal for them to impersonate a legal office or firm, the caller didn’t take it well at all and began to argue with me. Quite unbelievable, really!
