Asked him what it was about, and he said something about asking a couple of questions about shopping around here. I told him I wasn’t bothered and ended the call, then blocked the number. They called saying they were from some debt help company, I told them I’ve got my debts sorted and wasn’t gonna chat about it with some random guy. The bloke got a bit annoyed and asked if I was fine with paying extra then? Told him I didn’t wanna speak, but he just hung up on me. Blocked the number, but I’m sure they’ll ring from a different one next week, guess that’s just how it goes!

Got a call from an Asian woman, she knew my name right away. I asked her where she was ringing from a few times and she kept ignoring me. This so called debt management firm is a scam, they claim they’ll help clear your debts and save you money but then ask for your card and bank details. When I asked for the company name before giving info, the guy got dodgy and tried to change the topic. I pressed for his name and work address, he said he was Peter with a strong Asian accent but couldn’t give any real details. I got really suspicious and told him I didn’t want any help. Then he got quite rude, so I just ended the call. Glad I did! Everyone watch out for these dodgy bank frauds and scammers.
