BEWARE! THIS WAS A TOTAL SCAM! THEY PRETENDED TO BE MY BANK AND WARNED ME ABOUT A STRANGE PAYMENT ON MY ACCOUNT. I QUICKLY LOGGED INTO MY ONLINE BANKING AND SURE ENOUGH, THERE WAS A PAYMENT OF £80 THAT I DIDN'T RECOGNISE, MADE JUST MINUTES BEFORE THE CALL. SOMETHING ABOUT THE CALL AND THE MESSAGES THEY SENT FELT OFF, LIKE A SCAM, SO I ENDED THE CALL IMMEDIATELY. THEN I RANG MY BANK TO CHECK, AND THEY CONFIRMED IT WAS FRAUD ATTEMPT. I'VE SORTED EVERYTHING NOW, ORDERED A NEW CARD, AND THEY SAID THE £80 SHOULD BE REFUNDED BY TODAY. THIS ALL HAPPENED ON TUESDAY 25th JUNE, AROUND 3.30PM.
