Received a dodgy email claiming someone logged into my account. I’m not even signed up for online banking! They kept pushing me to ring a number straight away. Total scam, for sure.

Just got a text saying a new device was linked to my GPay and it told me to call this number straight away. I don’t even have a NatWest account, so I’m pretty sure it’s some kind of scam. The message came from 0754450034.

I received a text that said something like "NatWest: £684.34 has been sent to GARMIN. Please call urgently on 0122 396 7904. Ref: NG845." Since I'm not a NatWest customer, I knew straight away it was a scam. Unfortunately, my phone plan won’t let me forward the message to NatWest’s fraud number 88355 without extra fees, so I couldn't report it properly. Just a heads up to everyone to watch out for this kind of scam message. It came from 07542118982.
