I've been getting a barrage of nuisance calls lately, and the irritating part is none of them bother to leave a message.

Beware of this number - it appears to be linked to a group of scammers attempting to pull off bank fraud! They reached out to me, posing as representatives from my bank’s security team, and asserted that there had been suspicious activity on my debit card. They then went on to ask for my banking details under the guise of needing to "verify" my account. Caution is definitely advised!

Got a call today from what was clearly a scam. It was one of those automated messages about some payment problem with my card, telling me to press 1 to speak to “support.” Bit of a let down it wasn’t a real person on the other end, would’ve loved to have a bit of a chat and see how much nonsense I could feed back!

This morning, just after 9am, I got a call from 01223 931513, which I know is a Cambridge number. I was so fed up with random calls that I didn’t even say anything when I answered. There was just silence on the other end before they abruptly ended the call. It’s really frustrating, especially since I’ve been on the TPS list for years now. Would’ve liked to have a proper go at them, but no chance!

I got a call from this number as well - it seems local, but I’m pretty sure it’s just one of those scammy voip lines or something internet-based. Could be coming from anywhere, total muppets.

Answered the phone and there was a silence before they just hung up - sounds like one of those auto diallers, blocked them straight away.

Got a call from this number a bit ago, and they asked for me but used my old surname from before I got married. Havent gone by that name in over 8 years, so makes me wonder where on earth they found that info. Pretty curious about it.

Some bloke said his name was Steven, tried calling me like mad - must’ve been 10 times in an hour! I told him to quit calling me, but he threatened that if I ignored him, he’d scam me. Thought it was a right laugh so I just told him to jog on and hung up. Lad’s only trying to spook me, but he ain’t got a clue what he’s doing.
