It’s actually quite funny how some scammers can’t even get their act right and use some American text-to-speech bot to pretend they’re from the UK tax office (HMRC). I got a voicemail saying something like “We’ve got a fraud case logged against you. Press 1 now to speak with an officer from HMRC. If you don't press 1, a warrant will be issued immediately and you’ll be arrested soon.” Honestly, the whole thing sounds so fake and badly done.
