I got a call from a man with a robot voice saying HMRC was looking into a tax scam. He never said my name or any personal details, just told me I had to ring them back. I just ended the call straight away since I’ve heard loads about these scams before.

I received a call from a male voice claiming to be from HMRC, stating there’s an ongoing investigation related to tax fraud that somehow involves me. Curiously, he didn’t mention my name at all. The chap insisted that I should get back to them for more details. Immediately, I decided to hang up and subsequently blocked the number. Quite suspicious, I reckon!
