On 2nd March 23, I got a call from 01223 657250 via Three Mobile. There was this long awkward silence, then a woman’s voice came on saying hello. I didn’t wanna carry on the call, happy I didn’t just hang up straight away. I made sure to report it to bt.com/scams. These nuisance calls are always the same, really trying to make it tricky for us to block ’em.

Got a call from some supposed survey people, but when I asked which company they were surveying for, they just wouldn’t say. I told them I’m quite careful about who gets my info - if it was Amazon, I wouldn’t even bother, but if it was Greggs, I’d happily chat. They just went silent and then hung up on me! Definitely blocked now.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Aviva, offering cheaper life insurance. My client said it was total rubbish and a proper con. It’s really risky because folks might end up with rubbish insurance that doesn’t protect them like they think it does. Avoid this number, definitely not legit.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with 'surveys.co.uk' and they kept at it. After I answered some questions about my age, if I owned my home, funeral arrangements, insurance, and even my washing machine, they offered a free TV Times magazine. Then the call switched to a recorded message mentioning we could disregard it and talked about 'consumer lifestyle.co.uk'. They already knew my name and address but the caller didn't really get anything new from me. Feels like they just wanted to confirm my number to maybe sell it on to another annoying telemarketer.
