Got a call today from this number, it was one of those automated messages about possible fraud on my Visa card. It said my card might've been used suspiciously online. Didn't bother staying on the line and just ended the call.

If you want to get back at them, try using auto redial apps on your phone - they work really well to waste these call times. The number to hit is 01223613900, give it a go!

You might want to ring 01223613900 back. Might aswell do something productive and keep them busy for a while!

Total rip off. If you ring them back and just tell them you’re onto their game, they’ll actually chat to you about their tactics, how many people are involved and how much cash they’ve pulled in that day. You can ask whatever else you want. Honestly, the whole thing’s pretty rubbish anyway, so if you get caught out by it, maybe have a good rethink about things. Perhaps staying in might be best for you!

Definitely a fake, pretending to be from HMRC but there's no way it is. I rang the number back and used a made-up name, and the bloke who answered just told me to "F### Off" before slamming down. Honestly, these scammers aren’t even trying properly. The voicemail they leave is full of mistakes, and the people on the other end sound like total newbies. I’d give them 2 out of 10 for trying, but only 1 for how poorly they did. Come on "David", step up your game!

Received a rather alarming call from a chap insisting that if I didn’t ring back immediately, I’d be knee-deep in legal issues. Naturally, I became quite concerned and tried to unravel the nonsense I had supposedly landed in. It turns out they were droning on about some tax arrears dating back to 2015. Now, as someone who doesn’t earn enough to owe tax, I’m left scratching my head. The world’s already fraught with worry thanks to this ongoing pandemic, and here I am being hounded by these charlatans. One of them went by Scott Davies, apparently of Pakistani or Indian descent. Honestly, what’s to be done with these bottom-feeders? Maybe we should consider sending them off with a one-way ticket on a leaky boat. Just a thought!
