I just got a call from this number saying they were from Visa fraud team and that £600 was put on my credit card for a gift card headed to Central America. In the background, I could make out a bloke trying to convince someone else to update their credit card details. When I asked for a number to check if they were legit, they cut me off straight away. These scammers really need to be stopped soon.

Like some others have mentioned, I found £600 withdrawn from my debit card going overseas. It was one of those recorded robot voices on the call. Since it was from a landline, surely it’s linked to someone and they could track it down and do something about this?
