Once I picked up, a lady with a strange accent started talking. I could hear loads of noise in the background like a call centre. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from an Asian bloke a few days back, using a number almost the same as this one. Somebody rang me asking for Mr xxxx, I said that’s me and asked what was the point of the call. The bloke got a bit annoyed and snapped, saying who said we’re selling anything? I replied that when people call me from unknown numbers to confirm my name it’s usually so they can push some rubbish on me. Then he just hung up.

Got a call from a woman named "Victoria" who spoke with an Asian accent, asking if I'd ever had a Mercedes because apparently I could make some kind of claim, maybe related to diesel? I’d already had a call from someone else pretending to be from the same timeshare office and it was definitely a scam, so I told this guy the same and said I wasn’t interested. They claimed to represent TRO and offered assistance in reclaiming funds from ABC solicitors, who have apparently gone under as a result of fraudulent activities linked to timeshare sales. I'm really not certain if they’re the real deal or just dodgy. Either way, it certainly came out of the blue!

Got a call from some Timeshare Registry place first, then shortly after another call from someone claiming to be a consultant about compensation for a timeshare. I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. They rang back almost straight away, so I just hung up again. Then they called a third time, and when my partner picked up, the caller just dropped the line. Definitely smells like one of those timeshare scams to me.

I got a call from a woman who said she was with the Timeshare Registry Office. She asked some questions about timeshares, but I quickly realised it was just a marketing call meant to lead into another call from a "consultant." I told her straight up that I was treating it as an unwanted cold call and made it clear I didn’t want any follow-up calls from a consultant. After that, she just hung up.
