7 yearsOn Monday, at around 3.31pm on 5th August 2019, I received my third call of the day on my landline from numbers quite alike to previous ones: 01247988293 and 01221049489. Typically, an automated voice claims to be from TalkTalk warning that my broadband might be cut off, asking me to press 1 to talk to a technician, or 2 to cancel the service right away. After that message, there’s silence and the call drops after about half a minute. These calls come almost every week, sometimes twice a day, mostly saying they’re from TalkTalk but occasionally they mention BT too.
