I got several missed calls from unknown numbers that left no voicemail or message. Then that same day, my bank rang me about suspicious activity on my card. I can’t say for sure if those calls were connected, but that day I had quite a few calls from numbers I didn’t recognise, some even showed as private. It’s crazy because I never picked up, yet somehow they managed to access my bank info. Luckily, my bank spotted the fraud quickly, froze my card, and got in touch with me before anything worse happened.

Got a call and picked up, some Asian guy speaking, but his voice was really distorted and echoey. He kept talking about a survey I supposedly did (which I haven’t). Ended up just hanging up and blocked the number.

TOTAL SCAM! People really should be reporting stuff like this straight to the police records. Just google 'action fraud', pick the 'police.uk' official page, then hit the 'report' button. From the list that drops down, choose the phishing option, scroll a bit past the scam email details and then fill out the report. It’s pretty quick, no need to sign up or anything. Look after yourselves and others too, make sure you report every dodgy call or message like this so these crooks get stopped.

They referred to me as 'Mrs' when I’m actually a 'Miss'! That was my first hint that this was dodgy, LOL. Then they went on about how they were contacting me regarding a survey I'd filled out, claiming I won a puzzle book and that they just needed to sort out delivery. Quite the cheek, really!
