Couldn’t really catch the accent, but I reckon they kept checking if I was alright!! … Another one from Indian background, I think. Seriously tired of these calls from Indian folks, whether they’re from India or here in the UK, they never say straight up where they’re calling from.

They keep ringing daily but never leave a voicemail. I’m not gonna call them back. Had to look them up here. If it was someone I knew, they’d definitely leave a message. Seems like a scam or some phishing attempt. I’ve blocked the number now.

The reason you’re getting loads of calls is because you actually pick up and answer them - that tells scammers there’s someone real on the other end. Then they just go ahead and sell your number to loads of different companies. If you don’t know who’s calling, just don’t pick up. If it’s something urgent, they’ll ring you again or leave a voicemail. Easy as that.

It was an Indian lady on the line but she told me her name was Justin, and weirdly thanked me for actually picking up the phone nicely?? She tried to keep talking, saying she was from fusion and how lovely the weather was, but I just ended the call and blocked them. Also, they knew my name which was a bit creepy.

Definitely a scam, the caller claimed to be from some marketing firm! Had a strong Indian accent and I struggled to catch most of what was said. They even messed up my last name, which is the same as a well-known place.

I've had to start unplugging my landline and only connect it when I actually need to use it. I even tried calling my mobile right after with no luck from the house phone. It's high time the government did something about this. We ought to organise a protest in London or something to get folks to notice this problem more.

Mostly foreign numbers keep bothering my elderly parents, who are in their 80s, especially since my mum has dementia. These calls have been happening for close to 20 years now, sometimes they phone 3 or 4 times a day. We’ve had to unplug the landline and only plug it in when needed. They even try the mobile if there’s no answer on the home phone. This government really needs to take action about this. We should all organise some kind of protest in London to make them notice how serious this is.
