No idea who it was that rang me yesterday, 31st March 2022, claimed they were from citizens advice. Then this morning, the same number ending in 0194 called again, but this time pretending to be from fraud asking about my debt. Also, last week that number phoned asking if my house had any mould or dry rot. Feels a bit harsh for someone who might genuinely need assistance.

He kicked off by saying he knows I live in a council or housing association place (which I don't) and asked if there’s any maintenance stuff that needs sorting or isn’t up to scratch. I never give cold callers any info about me or my address, so I just stuck to my usual reply that the landlord takes care of all that. He didn’t hang about after that and just ended the call.

Got a random call at 17:22 on 29/3/22, then next day got a WhatsApp message from the same mobile number on 30/3/22. Someone was asking for an urgent money transfer to a bank account with a Birmingham sort code, said it was a Shekdon account. Seems like these two could be connected. Already reported it to the action fraud people.
