Someone rang me saying they were from Caterpillar Advice Services. They claimed there was a car crash involving me, and that it wasn’t my fault. Bit odd, cos i’d surely remember if that had happened.

I got a call from some automated machine asking if I'd been in a car crash, then they put me through to some call centre. The people on the line claimed to be from Catterpillar Advice Services based at 56 Ellis Street, Birmingham B1 THN. They sent me a website link that looked fake, and when I told them I couldn't find it online, they said the site was still being built. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I got a call from someone saying they were contacting me about an injury from a car crash I wasn't to blame for. When I asked where they got my number, they said it was from RSA. I told them I never agreed to my details being shared with others and wasn’t pleased they'd called me. The person asked me to confirm if I’d been in an accident, but I said again I didn’t appreciate the call. She then said she’d remove my number from their database. Honestly, I’m quite annoyed that RSA Mobility passed my phone number to a third party, especially since I’m on the TPS list.

Got a call today from someone going on about some crash that happened like 8 years back. I told them straight up I’m a senior loss adjuster over at RSA and a proper chartered insurer too. They were just a bunch of con artists trying their luck. Literally just dropped the phone and walked away laughing. Absolute muppets!
