She claimed to be phoning from the UK and was hell-bent on confirming a few details-my address, my telephone number, and my age, categorised into brackets. I interrupted her at that point, seeking clarification on what the call was about, but she just continued to babble incessantly, each word racing past me like a train. She kept insisting that I would never hear from them again if I answered her questions. Honestly, I wasn't buying it! I ended the call, as I had no intention of divulging any personal information to someone who seemed rather dodgy.

Latest news: it appears there’s a link here... I'm now getting calls from mobile numbers such as 0745 7400180 and 400171. It seems they’re all from the same “organisation.” Thankfully, my Samsung is doing its job, recognising these mobile callers and marking them as SUSPECTED SCAMS! I've put a stop to it.

As many others have pointed out, the individual orchestrating this nefarious scheme goes by the name of Stuart Wright, residing at 21A Plymouth Road in Barnt Green, Birmingham. It seems that all these phone numbers trace back to his name and that very address. It's little surprise he can afford such a lovely, spacious home when he's constantly conning people out of their hard-earned cash!
