These so-called legal firms claiming to look into old PPI claims are just after your cash right from the start. They’ve been ringing me from all kinds of different numbers to pressure me into paying. Told them to jog on. Pretty sure it’s a total con.

I got a call about a supposed mis-sold mortgage protection deal, but the info they gave just didn’t match what I was told on a later call. I got a call from someone saying they're sorting out a mortgage protection policy refund for self employed folks. They mentioned I claimed back in 2013 but never got paid. They said I’m owed some money and booked me in for a chat on Monday to get the policy details sorted. But since then, I haven’t had any email or phone call to confirm - just got told to leave a message. Bit strange really!
