I received a phone call today where the lady on the other end supposedly knew my address, which I verified. Then, she began firing off questions about my age and marital status. Honestly, I was quite taken aback by her manner of speaking-it was quite incomprehensible at times. I requested that she slow her pace several times, but it seemed like she was just following a predetermined script and rattling off her lines as quickly as she could. I had to terminate the conversation as it became evident she wasn't actually hearing my pleas for her to ease up; I genuinely couldn't keep up with her rapid dialogue.
