Got a call from 01217979457 this morning at 11:16. I couldn’t pick up, so I called back and ended up hearing some automated voice about benefits or whatever. I’ve dealt with these sorts of calls before, from numbers in Manchester and Blackpool. Turns out it’s one of those survey scams. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from 01217979457 claiming it was some helpful survey. Be careful because whatever you tell them, they pass on to others who might try to scam you or sell you stuff. When I rang back, I heard a message with a number to call if you want to be taken off their list. The annoying part is they keep phoning from different, but similar, numbers loads of times during the day.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. It rang just a few times, maybe three, then stopped and no message was left. Probably another dodgy scam, I reckon.

Got another call from the same number today. It wasn’t silent this time, the guy said he was with some call blocking company and was there to stop spam calls and refresh my call blocking settings. Bit fishy if you ask me.
