They’ve been ringing non stop after I registered a domain through 123.reg, no idea if it’s linked but 123.reg keeps pushing me to buy data protection saying all my details are now out there. Plus, I keep getting calls from web developers, so it wouldn’t shock me if it’s all connected.

This bloke’s been scaring my 81 year old mum. She rang me up all upset tonight cos he seemed to know where she lives. He said if she gave him her details, he wouldn’t bother her again. My mum said his voice was really scary and she thought he might be lurking nearby. He phoned her three times today alone. This kind of behaviour is pure harassment and people like this shouldn’t be allowed to do this kind of work. Do the folk in these phone companies realise how awful this is for older people who live on their own?

Had a call from an Indian gentleman trying to verify my address, then he asked for my first name so he could "talk to me properly". I told him he could just call me Mrs XXXX and to go ahead with his questions. Next thing, he just hung up. Seriously, don't engage with them, they’re just phishing for info!!!

Received a suspicious call at precisely 12:27, supposedly from Microsoft. I quickly sussed out that he wasn’t genuine and mentioned I didn’t even own a laptop. Things took a rather unsettling turn when he asked if I wanted him to ring me back, calling me 'huni'. That’s when I decided enough was enough and hung up.
