Lowri Beck here - my phone number was handed over by the energy company for a smart meter install. Last month, I got a letter from my supplier about this smart meter switch they're pushing. I’m aware these meters often give wrong readings (usually too high), so I didn’t want to switch. I’ve blocked the number now, but it seems this company calls people for the suppliers to promote the swap.

I got a ring from 01217901799 but have no idea who it could be. As soon as it switches to my voicemail, they just hang up straight away. Strange behaviour.
