I got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media about my internet connection. When I asked for the account holder's name, they couldn’t give me a proper answer. I told them to get lost and called them a scammer. Needless to say, they didn’t have a comeback after that.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Scottish Power. They kept pestering me about who supplies my energy and what my bills were. I kept saying no to all their questions, then they just ended the call. Their English was really bad too!

Got a call but there was total silence on the other end, no reply at all. Looks like it was probably one of those automated dialling systems.

I received a phone call at my workplace from a bloke looking for someone who doesn't even work here. I explained to him he had the wrong number, but then he pivoted to trying to sell me some energy plans for the business. I made it clear that I wasn't interested in that sort of thing, but he persisted and attempted to pitch the same offer for my home. Quite the relentless sales technique, I must say!
