2 yearsMy elderly mum, who’s 85, got a call from someone saying she’d sent £700 over to China. They told her they’d fix it faster than the bank if she didn’t wait to phone them. The person on the line was quite pushy and not polite at all. When I got on the phone to them, I could hear loads of background noise like an office, and the caller’s accent was hard to understand.
