This number called me and I thought it was something to do with wills so I hung up. They kept calling again though, so I picked up the next time. It was actually about raising awareness for some kind of protection. I found out I wasnt as covered as I believed even though I have wills in place.

Lately I've been getting phone calls from some Will firm, probably two or three times every week. They also ring from a number starting with 0347. The woman I talked to first claimed they had already sent a letter, but I've not received anything and she said this was a follow-up call? I told her we're not interested in any help with wills and hung up. Still, they keep ringing. I usually let the answering machine pick up, and real callers leave messages, but this lot never bother to.

A friendly woman rang me up claiming to be from WillAssociates. When I asked if it had to do with last wills and testaments, she told me it wasn’t about my will. I explained that both me and my wife already have estates sorted and don’t need any changes. She said sorry and we ended the chat. It was a bit irritating but nothing nasty - just one of those telesales calls I could do without. They’re just part of everyday life, really. If you handle them politely but firmly, they usually don’t bother you too much.

Will Associates calling me AGAIN!! I cut the call short but insisted on her full name and address - she had to 'check' first (weird, innit?). She ended up giving me what looked like the official address of The Old Magistrates Court, Cheshire Road, Market Drayton TF9 1PH. Doesn’t make sense since the number showed up as a Birmingham one. Claims they got my number from some other company. Told them to take me off their list. Let’s see if that actually happens!

If you’re wondering who’s ringing you from this number, it’s a company called [#]willassociates[###]/forms/contact. From what I’ve noticed, they mainly go after older folks, constantly phoning them to push Wills and other services. Like lots of others here, I’m really surprised they consider themselves a legit business. I’d recommend blocking the number or reporting them for their behaviour.

I received a phone call from a chap named Daniel using this number. When I inquired about his affiliation, he mentioned he represented "Will Associates." I promptly told him I hadn’t requested a call and ended the conversation. It's rather frustrating, as I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet it seems utterly pointless since it fails to deter these persistent cold callers. Got a call from them today, and I’m on the TPS list (not sure if it actually makes a difference). I gave him a quick listen, then brought up the TPS and told him to take me off their list. Got a call from this firm - after a long pause a lady said her name was Sophie. I had to ask her to say it again cause the connection was terrible. Grab yourself a BT 8500 phone with call blocking. It’s pretty cheap and stops all those annoying calls, like private numbers, mobiles, spam, and calls from abroad. You can set it up so it only picks up numbers saved in your contacts. Brilliant bit of kit!

Some guy in a loud call centre called and said he was from something like “Wall” company and asked how I was doing. I said “WHAT company?” but still couldn’t hear him properly. They do provide real advice, but couldn’t really assist with my particular issue. I was a bit harsh at first since I assumed they were selling wills or something. Got a call from Will Associates in Stoke on Trent, spoke to a very polite woman. Told her we’re signed up to the TPS so we don’t take unsolicited calls. Asked where they’d sourced my number from and she said Communication Avenue, their number is 08456447701. Had a look online and their site is something like www###unicationavenuef###, and they even have their own opt-out page! I’m definitely going to file a complaint about Communication Avenue with the TPS.
