Got a call from some unknown number so I called back just in case it was something important I missed. Turns out it was a bogus mobile scam number. I received a rather curious phone call the other day, claiming I’d "been involved in an accident and could pursue a personal injury compensation." It seems I've been inundated with these sorts of calls from various firms lately. Strikingly, as time passes since the so-called accident, their specifics become increasingly nonsensical and muddled - clearly indicating that some data is being circulated and it's becoming less reliable with each contact. During the conversation, the chap insisted that I must've given permission to be contacted in the first place. I firmly requested that they erase my details from their records, and they assured me that they would comply.

I’ve been inundated with calls from this number, likely linked to the injury claim following my accident two months back. It’s relentless; I receive around five calls a week from different numbers! Each time they assure me they’ll take me off their list, yet the calls keep coming, and new ones pop up too. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

Some lot called 'Pinpoint Solutions' got in touch with me, saying if you look up insurance quotes on the internet, they somehow get your info. What’s odd is that I dialled their number with 141 in front to keep myself private, but the bloke already knew my name and even rattled off my phone number when I asked them to remove me from their list. Really creepy stuff!
