Got a voicemail from this number sayin since I’m an O2 customer I qualify for some kind of fancy business upgrade account and to ring back for info. Problem is, I’m not even with O2 and I definitely don’t have a business account. Sounds like a sales pitch to me, which I don’t want, so I’ve blocked them now.

Got a call on my landline from 01215749833, someone saying they were from Virgin Media. I asked this lady, with a strong foreign accent, what the call was about three times and she just cut off. Watch out and don’t give any personal info, it’s definitely a scam!

they keep calling but i just ignore it. i snap a quick pic of the number when it shows up (press home button and power button together). they hang up after that. then i block the number and post it on facebook for everyone to see. hopefully the caller notices and stops bothering folks. if more people did this, i reckon the calls would die down pretty fast. honestly, it’s a good strategy to try.

Got a call from someone asking if I'd been in an accident lately, saying they could get me a higher payout 'cause they know the system inside out. They sounded quite pushy and not at all pleasant. Got a call on my phone from someone asking if I’d ever been in a factory or a place with loads of noise in the background. Sounds like one of those “we can help you claim compo” scams to me. Told them to stop calling and ended the call. Number’s been reported and blocked now.
