Today, I received a call from someone purporting to represent BT. I can assure you straight off, he’s not the real deal. He claimed that my internet connection had some issues and that he could sort it all out by accessing my computer and broadband remotely. I’ve checked, and this number isn’t affiliated with BT at all. This chap is clearly a con artist.
