When I picked up, the caller was really pushy. My husband ended up speaking with them and they continued being quite forceful, warning he'd be in big trouble if we didn’t respond properly. They kept ringing, like 6 calls back to back without stopping. Honestly, it felt really intrusive and stressful.

I picked up and kept saying hello but no one spoke back. After about 25 seconds, an automated voice just said goodbye and cut the call! Looking at my call history, this number rang me four times in quick succession. I hadn't blocked it before since some family are from the 0121 area and I don't have all their numbers saved. But now, it's definitely getting blocked.

Somebody rang up pretending to be Gladstone Brooks, saying I’d got £5,000 sorted for PPI. I just laughed and told them to go ahead and post the cheque since I never even made a claim. Then they asked what I’d spend it on, and I just said that was my business. Next thing, they go, “bet it’d be a hooker, since you’re likely over 60.” What a cheeky git!

I got a call from a different number before this one. Some bloke with a foreign accent said he was calling for a national survey and kept asking for me by name. I told him I wasn’t comfortable giving out any info and ended the call. Then, he called back on this number and started yelling at me because I’d hung up on him!

I told them I’m not interested and I never even claimed PPI. So I said no thanks and told them to buzz off.
