Got a call from 01217147414 this evening. Didn’t pick up and they never left a voicemail. Looks like a scam to me.

I received a phone call purporting to be from O2 regarding my contract renewal. I expressed my doubts about their affiliation with O2 and urged the caller to give a considered response. When I pressed for his name and the company he represented, he promptly launched into his sales pitch. I cut him off, pointing out that he hadn’t addressed my inquiries. Subsequently, he hung up on me. When I returned the call, I was met with a recorded message claiming they had been trying to reach me for market research. They insisted that there was nothing further I needed to do. This reeks of a scam or some dubious scheme.

Got a call from this number but I’m not from Birmingham or anywhere near it. Used this site to check and ended up blocking it. Also sent a report to 772 saying it was a dodgy scam and a proper nuisance.

Never heard of this number and I don’t live anywhere near Birmingham. Looked it up here first, then went ahead and blocked it. I also sent a complaint about it to 7726, marking it as a spam caller and annoyance.
